a lovely, clean lodge and very helpful owners. It is a shame the lodges are so close together and we had direct eyesight on lodge opposite. Shame. Negative: no recycling facilities. Found this unacceptable.

I found the whole holiday very relaxing which is what I wanted. I went with my husband and dad who also loved it. The cottage was stunning and immaculate and I would recommend to anybody. The owners were very accommodating and left us a welcome pack which just added to the whole experience and made us feel very welcome. I feel like I know the owners personally even though I have not met them which says a lot. Cant praise enough. Many thanks.

Lovely lodge, great location for Nature reserve, but if you dislike fishing it's rather on your doorstep. However the lodge is well presented, clean and very well equipped. Great communication from owner. A great stay.

Stayed for a week from 3rd August & wad blown away with how amazing the lodge & site was, the pictures don't do it justice at all! Lodge was lovely & clean with all the details thought about to make your stay that extra bit special. The fishing lake, although small, was great & both my husband & son enjoyed fishing it. The hot tub was great & the site was so picturesque & quiet, I could easily live there! Was lovely BBQing on the verander, overlooking the lake, on a summer evening. The owners were lovely too, made sure we got in to the lidge all ok, then we didnt need to contact them again, as everything about the lodge was great. The only small issue we had was, due to the hot weather & a wave of foreign bugs, we got bitten a fair bit, even overnight inside the lodge, so pack the insect repellent! Will definitely be back, my husband actually wants to retire to Thorpe Park Lodges when the time comes!! 😀

A great spot right by the lake. Lovely peaceful site, with a high standard of accommodation, especially given they are ‘dog friendly’. Lovely touch with the welcome pack even including the dog! Everything you need to self cater including a BBQ. Plenty of outdoor furniture and a proper little sun trap on the deck during the day. Would happily recommend and return.

Nice clean comfortable cottage. Loved fishing in the lake and the hot tub. If it were mine I would certainly cover the tub or re site it on front porch with an outside tap and hose to wash muddy boots. More garden furniture needed and a washing line or drier for wet towels. Our dog loved walking in the nature reserve and was content to sit on the terrace after his walks and watch the fishing and wildlife. Very relaxing.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments; we are pleased you enjoyed your stay in our lodge despite the weather not being great. On our last visit, garden furniture has been purchased together with a charcoal BBQ. Sorry to hear you didn't find the outside tap which is located to the rear of the property. We hope to welcome you back soon. Many thanks.

Lovely lodge well equipped, very clean on arrival and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Hot tub is excellent easily big enough for our party of 4 adults and 2 kids and was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Well located with nice views of a duck pond. Good local nature walk and within easy reach of Lincoln centre and Cathedral. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
