Excellent cottage with a good location for exploring the area. Beds were very comfy and great kitchen. No WiFi but this was waiting on BT fixing it.

Excellent accommodation in a rural area. We stayed in this house for a short break while attending a family wedding close by. The house had everything that we needed, was very clean and as we stayed in October it was lovely to be able to use the wood burning stove. The welcome pack provided was a lovely extra. We would have no hesitation in staying here again or recommending to others

A perfect location for our young family. Rural, yet not too remote from amenities. There is absolutely no shortage of things to do in the area. Glorious location with the added bonus of cattle and horses in neighbouring fields. We have already booked in for next year which is indicative of how much we have enjoyed our recent stay. Delightful and most helpful owners. Philip, Casterton

We knew the area but still found the exact location a pleasant suprise. It was, as we wanted near Dumfries, near the main roads but still very much a rural retreat. For a working farm it is very neat and tidy; some sheep cows and calves on the front lawn and a couple of very friendly horses in the adjoining paddock with extensive views across the Solway. Beautiful.
