Venture off on a journey for two, and visit this delightful lodge complete with your own hot tub. With beautiful scenery and so much to do, your holiday away with your loved one will be truly magnificent.

Bedroom: With kingsize bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.

LPG central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot (£10 per week) and highchair (£5 per week) available on request. Inital logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack available at £7. Shared laundry room. Enclosed lawned terraced garden with garden furniture. Shared 2 acre natural grounds. Private hot tub. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is fenced lake in the grounds. The property has a security deposit of £100.

Enjoy a beautiful, romantic getaway in a detached, Scandinavian log cabin which has its own private decking area overlooking a tranquil lake with an abundance of wildlife. This property lies in the grounds of the owner’s home, nestled in 2 acres of private land. The private decking area is ideal for relaxing on and dining, or barbecuing using your own barbecue, whilst enjoying the far-reaching views of Bredon Hill and the Malvern Hills. It also has its own private fenced gardens and hot tub to sit and relax in under the stars. The holiday lodge is set in the quiet village of Stoulton, with an 11th-century Norman church and many footpaths for walking and cycling. Attractions in the area include Capability Brown’s famous landscaped grounds at Croome Court, 4 miles, the attractive spa town of Malvern, home to the Three Counties Showground and the Morgan Motor Company is 10 miles, Pershore, a market town on the River Avon with an imposing abbey, and Evesham, another historic market town with an abbey and good shopping facilities. Worcester is a cathedral and university city on the banks of the River Severn, and the famous towns of Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham are also within easy reach. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
On the same site are a further two Scandinavian-style lodges, each with two bedrooms and sleeping four people (refs W43950 and W44036). They both have their own large decked area and hot tub. These three properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests.

    The location is simply beautiful however all that has been let down by what can be described as "unhelpful" and "disrespectful" lady owner. We booked for 3 nights. On the first day of our stay we realised the cookware didn't meet our requirement as frying pans were old and dirty, grater was dangerously blunt and deep pan was too small for a substantial meal. I spoke to the lady owner,for a larger cooking pan. When I arrived at her front door she greeted me with a "cow milking bucket". I explained that this isn't going to do, we will buy our own pans from the shops thank you. I was then asked whether I'm going to bring guests round to which I replied: " no, as per agreement its just the two of us". I was then "warned" if I did bring people in I will be asked to leave. This is the sort of welcome I receievd on my first day of arrival,an eviction threat!!!! She's been round the next day to clean the hot tub and left a note: "do not use before 10am"."without please or thank you", which again is a classic casing point for lack of manners and appalling customer service when addressing a 'paying customer". When we were leaving she didn't have the slightest courtesy to apologise for making us feel unwelcome and causing unnecessary friction. As I said above the lodge is stunning with a fire place, hot tub and lovely lake making it so cozy and romantic, however we will neither return nor recommend due to owner's poor manners which made us feel unwelcome.

    Response on behalf of the owner; In response to your very negative review and personal comments regarding myself, I feel it is only correct to respond as Owner of Sunbrae Holiday Lodges. Unfortunately the requests that you made after making your booking with us, were in the main, unachievable. You requested to bring your own BBQ which is not permitted due to Fire regulations and Insurance. You also requested an umbrella to put over the BBQ in case it rained, again this was not possible for the same reasons. The request for a roof over the hot tub in case it rained was not achievable. However your request to arrive early was accommodated. You were not happy with the catering equipment that we provide in our cabins. These pans have been adequate for previous guests in the past, and we meet the requirements from Cottages.com as to what must be provided based on the size and number of people the property sleeps. Therefore I must admit this did send warnings bells that you were planning to entertain, so I stated that if this was the case this would invalidate your booking and guests who do this are asked to leave, as per our policies and your booking conditions, we have every right to do so. Your comment regarding the cooking equipment provided being old and dirty also needs to be addressed. I had that week, had my Quality Assessment on all the Cabins and all had scored 5 for cleanliness, and 5 for catering equipment which is the highest score achievable. I therefore fail to understand this comment. If you had discussed your need for specific equipment, along with your other requests prior to arrival, this maybe could have been dealt with then. Perhaps you could have brought your own, as it was clearly such an integral part of your stay. The pan I offered to you was a Jam Making Pot, but this unfortunately wasn’t satisfactory for your needs either. It was not a Cow Milking Bucket. The next request we received by text on the Saturday was for the “responsible person” to come down and carry out a Maid service and change linen and towels as you expected this to be done on a daily basis during your stay, along with demands to provide you with shower gel and adequate dishwasher tablets. I explained to you that the Lodges are Self Catering and therefore guests look after themselves. We do not, and never have, provided a daily linen and towel change and we also do not extend to the type of concierge services more commonly found in hotels. It was at this point I suggested that as you clearly weren’t happy, you should contact Cottages.com regarding your issues. I also contacted them myself to inform them of the situation and they did ring you and leave a voicemail message to discuss your issues. Regarding the note left for the hot tub. The tub was checked by Mr Knight on the Sunday following the maintenance of the hot tub and the note left is an Instruction purely for the guests own safety. It’s a great pity that the situation arose due to our inability to accommodate your requests, as we take pride in welcoming all our guests and try and make their stay enjoyable and relaxing to the best of our ability. We endeavour to accommodate all reasonable requests whenever possible. Other reviews are proof that we successfully achieve this, time after time, but unfortunately, we were unable to satisfy you and your expectations were clearly way above what we are able to provide. We are of course naturally very upset to have received this review, and would point out that it is in stark contrast to our other reviews both prior and since this booking which we feel give a much more balanced view of our property.

    We had a friendly welcome by the owners and were helped to settle in. We were left to enjoy ourselves, knowing that we could call for help if we needed anything. A great lodge, beautiful surroundings...leading to an amazingly restful week!! Would thoroughly recommend it!!

    We loved Robin Lodge.Warm and cosy especially with the log burner lit. Rita and Barry provided everything we needed including a pint of milk so we could settle in before going shopping.Lovely private outdoor area with beautiful views and private hot tub. Rita even left a card and bottle of wine for my wife's birthday! We will definitely be back and will certainly recommend to friends.

    Me and boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed our stay at robin lodge. We were unsure what to expect before arriving but we were surprised to have everything that we needed for three nights. The bed was so comfortable and clean and Rita and Barry were welcoming and even provided us with local takeaway menus which helped as we were not local. We will definitely return next year!

    Absolutely incredible get away! I am so in love with this place I think I’ll be returning every year to just get away from life with or without my partner. Sooo secluded, beautiful view and location. Loved it! Bed and sofa a little old and could probably do with replacement soon but loved it!

The bed had a new Mattress this year. The frame work to the Bed is Solid Oak and is timeless and has been in place for two years and the Sofa and Chair are just 2 years old and made of high quality leather which is very hard wearing… very strange that you thought they needed replacing.
