Sugarloaf Cottage, once a stable, has now been lovingly converted to a holiday home ideal for a break away for two. Located just a couple of miles from the town of Abergavenny, this is an ideal location for exploring this beautiful part of Wales.
Pen Y Worlod Cottages are nestled under the Blorenge Mountain and are only a few feet away from the Llanfoist to Brynmawr Cycle Path, with endless choices for walks nearby. Visit the town of Abergavenny with its historic castle and museum, or alternatively take a canal boat and visit the Brecon Beacons. If walking or cycling is your thing, Abergavenny serves as the gateway to the mountains, the Sugarloaf, the Brecon Beacons and the Five Hills (Ysgryd Fach, Deri, Rholben, Ysgryd Fawr and Myndd Llanwenarth). Abergavenny is also renowned for its food festival in September where lots of culinary delights are to be had.
The property consists of an open plan living space, with a 42” TV and a well-equipped kitchen area. A shared utility room is located at the end of the cottages, and houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. On the first floor is a comfortable double bedroom and a separate bathroom with shower over the bath. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant 3 miles.
Sugarloaf Cottage can also be booked with Cwtch Cottage (UK33300) and Skirrid Cottage (UK33299) to accommodate up to 8 guests.
