Lovely people to stay with and the location couldn't be better with a 20 minute walk into Cirencester. The clear running water of a stream through the garden made the cottage idyllic.

An excellent cottage, well situated for exploring the cotswolds. A quiet location within walking distance of Cirencester town centre. Well equipped and a very pleasant place to stay.

We booked Stratton Mill for our first visit to the Cotswold to use as a base. We couldn't have picked a better location. It was a 20 minute walk to great restaurants. Sue could not have been more accommodating. The cottage had everything we needed. We will be booking Stratton Mill again

Cottage was very clean our hostess was very welcoming. Property has good views across the meadow. The Plough Inn was very good with the host being very helpful food very good. If you were disabled the property would be unsuitable as two very high steps to get into the kitchen area. Also 12 steps to the bedroom which is in fact next door over the two garages. Also having to be careful with the angle of the ceilings in the bedroom as it was very easy to bang your head. Shower was very good and large but seemed in the age of health and safety to be missing any hand rails as there was nothing to hold on too if you were older. The heating in the lounge is underfloor but worked well. Plenty of information about the locality. If being critical property had an end of season feeling. But well worth the amount we paid for our 4 day stay.

Nice cottage and lovely weather. Felt a little disappointed with the water meadows, not quite what we were expecting. Also the Saturday and Sunday night youngsters were sleeping in the open on the meadows, noise until 3am then again from 6am.
