Stearn Cottage is a very well equipped holiday let which has been renovated to a very high standard. The Estate is very well maintained and staff extremely helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break and would recommend. I only have one negative - I do not believe it is big enough to be advertised and used by 8 people. There are only 2 - three seater sofas and so 2 of us had to sit on dining room chairs instead of having any comfortable seating. In addition, it is a squeeze to fit 8 people around the dining room table. I would go as far as saying this should be a 4 or at max 6 person accommodation. The property looks much bigger in the pictures provided on the website - it is actually very cosy !.

Very nice property, a bit off the beaten track. For 6 or 8 One loo in the bathroom not really practical. Access close to door, not too good, when unloading/loading up car. However when leaving, it was raining and we asked for gate to be unlocked and he did. Only one shop/filling station at far end of village. Touring around, plenty of places to go.

Fab weekend. House is off the beaten track which didn't bother us as we got a taxi into Bury St Edmunds. Clean, beds were very comfortable, well equipped kitchen - although some of the settings have rubbed off the dial on the cooker so we weren't sure which to use. Beautiful setting. Loved it!
