Many popular tourist attractions are within easy reach of this single-storey holiday property, which is just 1 mile from the beach.

Situated along the historic Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, these delightful holiday properties (refs UKC1368, UKC1370- UKC1377 and UKC1379) provide the perfect base from which to explore east Devon. Stoneleigh Village offers single-storey semi-detached and detached cottages, which have been decorated and furnished to a very good standard. Each property has patio doors leading to a private sitting-out area, ideal for al fresco dining, and refs UKC1371, UKC1375, UKC1376 overlook the Jurassic Coast. The holiday park itself occupies a beautiful, elevated position and sits charmingly between the Regency town of Sidmouth, and the picturesque harbour town of Lyme Regis. The stunning scenery and dramatic coastal path offers visitors a fantastic journey through its unique landscape.
The Jurassic Coast lies within the unspoilt countryside of east Devon, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Its alluring sheltered beaches provide a wonderful secluded retreat. Absorb the breathtaking views of rugged cliffs, award-winning beaches, seaside towns and fishing villages. Sidmouth’s shingle bay is surrounded by dramatic red cliffs, whilst the town itself boasts around 500 listed buildings, affectionately earning the title of ’The Regency Town by the Sea’. The Donkey Sanctuary, a popular tourist attraction, lies within a short walk, and there are many attractions close by including Seaton Tramway, Pecorama, considered by many to be the finest 7¼ inch gauge railway in Britain, Lulworth Cove Visitor Centre and many Nationa Trust properties. Review for cottage 55 (is that Honeysuckle???): spacious semi-detached holiday cottage. Two bedrooms. Sleeps 4. Bathroom with bad and shower, toilet and washbasin. Kitchen with microwave, range with oven, dishwasher and fridge. In my opinion is the price too high for it's quality. For instance: The walls between two cottages are very thin. You'll hear your neighbours's tv and laughing. The beds were all right but the other furniture in bedrooms is very cheap (not long lasting, wonky).  Bathroom: Shower head (not adjustable) sprays water outside the cubicle, so the floor (and bathroom entry) get drenched. Showercurtain get's stuck between the bathroomdoor.  Water wasn't very warm. No washing machine and no Wi-Fi (and hardly 4G). Very welcoming manager, however the reception area was very cold and partly  furnished. The reception building is not brought to an end so it doesn't feel very welcoming (it feels even derelict). We had chosen another cottage but were rebooked twice by Stoneleigh Holidaypark to other cottages. The second time without asking. We had an agreeable weekend and enjoyed the surrounding, but I wouldn't advice this cottage because the price is far too high for the offered standard. (Some cottages are private owned and I presume that they deliver better value for your money).

Stoneleigh village is tired and neglected with potholes gravel tracks for roads. The lodge was spacious and airy but looking tired. We had some issues with electrics and drainage. Access to the cottage is on grass so not ideal. The reception area and surrounding area resembles a building site. The donkey sanctuary is close by which is great.

Lovely cottage and lots of space for the children to safely run around and play outside. Very quiet and lovely views. The cottage could benefit from a DVD player and stronger wifi connection.

The cottage is kept to a good standard and was generally clean throughout, although the inside of the fridge door could have done with a bit more attention. It could have done with a washing machine. The location is quite a way from Sidford/Sidmouth and has little phone coverage, so there is a feeling of being a bit remote (good for some!). We probably wouldn't stay again, but this is based on our personal preferences on location.
