The cottage is ideally located for Swaledale walks. The cottage is recently refurbished throghout to a really high standard with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedroom with a smart tv and excellant shower. The lounge is cosy with a log burning stove (easy to light) and smart tv. There is underfloor heating in shower room and lounge. There is an outside deck/ patio area with comfortable chairs and table up steep stairs. A nice suntrap for a restful break after a long walk. Reeth is ideally suited for walking. There are a couple of food stores, 3 pubs and further restaurants around the area and Hawes isn't too lfar in the car. The Reeth museum is worth the visit.

Stonegate Cottage is one of the best holiday cottages I have ever stayed in. It is tastefully decorated, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The cottage itself is cosy and quiet and a welcome hamper was awaiting our arrival, which was appreciated. Instructions for picking up keys were easy to follow and the owners quite were accessible, if needed, and couldn't be more welcoming. Local information was clear and detailed at the cottage. There are numerous walks of varying lengths from Reeth which we enjoyed doing. I would not hesitate in recommending this fabulous cottage to anyone for a holiday.

We have no hesitation in recommending this fantastic little cottage. It has been modernised to a very high standard and provides a very comfortable one bed house. It is ideally located to enjoy the wonderful walks in the Dales and just down the road from the Dales Bike Centre. The owners were very attentive insuring we had everything we needed. They have put lots of nice little touches in to the house, everything from rain coats to a honour system bar. We could not have had a better weeks holiday and will definitely be back next time we visit the UK.

We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Swaledale staying at Stonegate Cottage which was very well situated for our walks. The standard of the cottage was quite amazing in the detail of the fitting out where nothing was lacking. Any query we had was promptly resolved by Jonny. We would certainly use this property again and recommend it to anyone! Norma & Hugh, Glasgow.
