Among some of the best scenery that the north of England has to offer, Stobthorn Cottage has been tastefully converted to offer ideal family holiday accommodation. On a working small holding, this cottage has been converted from a former barn. The cottage has lovely oak doors and the benefit of underfloor heating on the ground floor. There are paths across fields to country pubs serving food; the nearest is dog friendly and is within a half hour walk. The Heritage Coastline, with Whitby and Scarborough, and the Hambleton Hills are within an easy drive. The Coast-to-Coast long distance footpath passes near the cottage. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is also an easy scenic drive away.
