This very comfortable and welcoming cottage is set in a peaceful location within a traditional working arable and livestock farm on the outskirts of Kirriemuir in the heart of Angus.
With a large colourful garden and plenty of parking, this is a great choice for a relaxing and interesting holiday in beautiful surroundings. There are stunning views of the Angus Glens, Caddam Woods, Tulloch Hill, and the parklands of Kirriemuir from all round the farm and its location is an ideal base for visiting the areas attractions, whether you’re walking, cycling or driving.
Kirriemuir is just a short drive away and is perhaps most famous for being the birthplace of JM Barrie, the creator of Peter Pan. Kirriemuir is at the foot of the Angus Glens and on the perimeter of the Cairngorm National Park, and there are plenty of interesting shops and eateries in the town and local rural area. There are lots of opportunities for walking - whether you enjoy hillwalking or a stroll through beautiful woodland you’ll be spoilt for choice. Golfers have plenty of courses to choose from in the area, in Kirriemuir itself or the more challenging option of Carnoustie, just 20 miles away. The sandy beaches along this stretch of coastline are a sharp contrast to the dramatic splendour of the glens. A perfect choice at any time of the year. Beach 20 miles.
