Gas central heating and electric heaters (pre-programmed timer), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer (shared with other properties on-site).
Enclosed garden with garden furniture (shared with other properties on-site). Bike store. Private parking. No smoking. Please note: The bunk room (bedroom) 2 is accessed from the living room and is only suitable for children under 10 years of age. There are 4 steps down (2ft drop) from the station platform to the garden. Dogs must be kept on lead in the garden.
These four cottages have been created from the picturesque old station house at Brompton-by-Sawdon which was on the Scarborough to Pickering Line and enjoy views across the village cricket pitch to the Yorkshire Wolds. Ideal for a diverse holiday, they are close to both the North York Moors National Park and the glorious Heritage coastline.There is much to see and do - walk along the cliff tops on the Cleveland Way, visit the picturesque coastal villages and historic Whitby, enjoy the attractions of Scarborough, 8 miles away, or travel on the North York Moors Steam Railway from Pickering, 8 miles away. The village itself has a famous church and the famous poet William Wordsworth was married here.The apartments face south and open onto a beautiful, landscaped garden which is the perfect place to relax after a day’s exploration. Butchers shop, wine shop/bar and tea rooms are just a short walk away.
