Wordsworth was married in the village church, excellent tea rooms just a short walk, the ideal place to relax.
Ground Floor: All on the ground floor.Living/dining room: With wood burner, Freeview TV and DVD player.Kitchen: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.Bedroom 1: With double bed.Bedroom 2: With single and pull-out bed (for child if required).Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet. Maximum occupancy 4 guests, including babies and children.
Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Logs for wood burner available locally. Cot (if pull out bed not in use) and highchair. Welcome pack. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer (shared with other properties on-site).
Enclosed garden with garden furniture and BBQ (shared with other properties on-site). Bike store. Private parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 4 steps down (2ft drop) from the station platform to the garden.
These four cottages have been created from the picturesque old station house at Brompton-by-Sawdon which was on the Scarborough to Pickering Line and enjoy views across the village cricket pitch to the Yorkshire Wolds. Ideal for a diverse holiday, they are close to both the North York Moors National Park and the glorious Heritage coastline.There is much to see and do - walk along the cliff tops on the Cleveland Way, visit the picturesque coastal villages and historic Whitby, enjoy the attractions of Scarborough, 8 miles away, or travel on the North York Moors Steam Railway from Pickering, 8 miles away. The village itself has a famous church and the famous poet William Wordsworth was married here.The apartments face south and open onto a beautiful, landscaped garden with a barbecue area, which is the perfect place to relax after a day’s exploration. Butchers shop and excellent tea rooms are just a short walk away.
