We enjoyed a rainy late Autumn break tucked up in front of the log fire. We will be back in Spring or Summer to appreciate the scenery.

This was a lovely little place to stay, It was great to get a welcome pack for us and our dog, he loved the hand made biscuits. The fresh milk was especially welcome. Also it was good to have a full cooker to use, to be able to cook and not have to go out too much. The village is great and the garden was lovely we only wished the sun shone a little more so we could take advantage of it

Stayed in coach A in early August - Brompton- by - Sawdon Excellent location, well maintained and clean accommodation with lovely fresh linen and towels On an ideal route/connection for visiting the North Yorkshire Coast line and area. Great quiet location to chill and relax with a lovely spacious garden. Owners close by if required with their lovely pet dog Woody. Good food available within a short car journey at the Anvil Inn and Downe Arms both dog friendly. Would highly recommend and we will certainly stay again if visiting this area.

We had a wonderful week here at Station House which is very dog friendly. We stayed in Coach A which was a home from home for us and our dog Freya. The apartment has everything you need and has been recently been updated with lovely fittings. Everything has been well thought out in design for us and for a dog. Lovely little touches for our dog being homemade biscuits, a sleeping mat and a towel. The garden is beautiful and has lovely views over the village cricket green. The village is beautiful and has lovely places to walk the dog. The village butcher is outstanding. Everything we purchased was top notch in taste and quality. Especially enjoyed the pork pies. John and Angie are very welcoming and helpful owners. They have lots of good ideas for doggie friendly things to do in the local area. We will definitely return.

The disused railway station is unique all that was missing was the gentle sound of a steam engine. It is ideally placed for exploring the coast and there is a fantastic butchers in the village

    Response from:

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay, and hope you can return in the future.
