As a former station I judged that the property would be centrally situated, and this proved to be the case. Unlike some we have visited it wasn't short of space and with two bedrooms (rather than one plus a drop-down bed in the lounge which we have encountered elsewhere). My nephew (with whom I take most holidays) is a keen fisherman and the attractions of the Mere are obvious in that respect though he also found a fishing like within two miles. The weather during our week was perfect and less oppressively hot than further inland. We shall be returning to Station Court in September.

Location is great, cottage is very good, mobile phone internet connection is poor so really needs a wifi source, the hot water system is quirky for the shower. Hornsea is a nice little town with lots of really good local shops and cafes, there is a good bus service to other resorts and to Hull so driving into the city and any parking issues there can be avoided. there are good local walks to take the dog but watch for the small areas where the council exclude dogs for the summer, about two hundred yards of the seafront . The town is dog friendly and we were made most welcome. We would book this cottage again.

I enjoyed my stay here and would love to stay here again. The house is all one level, clean warm and comfortable. Only 5min walk from the beach which is beautiful and fab fish and chips shop as well as a local shop about 15min walk away (5min in the car)And lovely restaurant called Swiss cottage. I would love to come here again. The owner is contactable and I didn't miss the wifi much because the environment was right. Going further there is Tescos not far in the car. We had fantastic weather. Nice place to relax and good for children and a dog friendly area.

We had a lovely holiday. Lovely clean apartment, nice cosy bed and everything we needed in the kitchen. Our dog loved the walks and playing on the beach. Mr.Moos ice cream is a must have as is the fish and chips from the Seafront chippy. Our only problem was the hot water. Takes ages to come through and doesn't last long. Shower went cold every 15 to 20 seconds. Bath was o.k though. All in all a great holiday.

Ideal for a holiday with a two year old as beach a short toddle away. Immaculately clean and has a small enclosed garden. Well equipped but saucepans etc could do with an update. Dishwasher didn't work properly and no wi-fi, but TV/DVD player was good. Loved views of the sea. Hornsea itself has good facilities and a v nice promenade but feels a little down at heel. Nice places to visit within easy reach.
