Lyme Regis, with its Cobb, offers good sailing and water-skiing. Visit the Donkey Sanctuary, Broadwindsor Craft Centre, Crealy Adventure Playground at Exeter or Bicton Park Gardens at Budleigh. The rich and rolling farmlands nearby are dotted with ancient market towns and mellow stone villages. The Blackdown Hills where gorse-clad hilltops descend through to secluded wooded valleys. Walkers will delight in reaching the Duke of Wellington’s monument. Shop 1.5 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
