Lovely, comfortable cottage. Ideally placed to explore the surrounding counties. Peasemarsh had nice facilities and there were many options for eating out without having to travel too far. Excellent local supermarket which included a filling station and cafe only around half a mile from the cottage. Our hosts were always available if needed and very helpful with information etc. The facilities within the cottage were comprehensive and great care had obviously been taken with selecting furniture, fittings and entertainment and catering needs. We are seriously considering returning in the future to continue to explore this lovely part of England.

A lovely base to explore East Sussex from, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The local supermarket, 18 minutes easy stroll over the fields was brilliant. The Horse and Cart pub was worth a visit as well, friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return to Stable Cottage and recommend it to anyone wanting local facilities combined with a rural outlook.

The cottage was lovely but close attention to small details i.e. towels were very poor quality as were the tea towels. There was no radio as the very cheap CD player did not work and no WI-FI . The owners were lovely and didn't impose..

We had a great week in this lovely quiet cottage. Not loads of local facilities but that was what we wanted but very good supermarket in the village. Very helpful and friendly owners too.
