The cottage is lovely, was well prepared and is generally well equipped - the rain shower is lovely - and was warm and cosy. The weather when we stayed wasn't the best, so we didn't use the BBQ and, towards the end of our stay, seriously missed a tumble dryer as we were not coming home directly and needed to do laundry at the cottage. For car travel the location is ideal with Rye, Tenterden and many other idyllic villages, close by. The local family run supermarket, not open Sunday, was a treat after "the big4" that we have to suffer at home. There are a myriad of public footpaths criss-crossing the local land but decent walking clothes and shoes were needed to make use of them at the time of our stay. If we elect to holiday in that area again we would certainly consider staying there again

Very nice welcome & a well designed cottage which was clean & comfortable. The owners live at the farm & allow guests to walk in their meadows which adjoin the cottage. Pretty countryside around.
