We had a lovely week at Stable Cottage. It is the perfect place for peace and relaxation! Ginny was so welcoming and we felt very at home. The hot tub was fantastic, the bed was so comfortable and the log burner gave the cottage such a cosy feel. We will definitely be visiting again! High Paradise has a piece of our heart!

A lovely cottage to enjoy some peace and quiet. Lovely walks, delightful cafe on site for local walkers and the owners/staff were very friendly. The hot tub is a glorious way to end a busy day - rain or shine.

Stayed for Christmas, lovely little cottage in the middle of no where but directly on the Cleveland way so good for nice walks. Main negatives for us would be- in the summer the hot tub would lack privacy. There was no Christmas tree up in the cottage, I know it’s quite a small cottage but think even a small one would work and maybe some Christmas lights, can get some nice battery operated ones. The sofa isn’t overly comfy, guessing because it’s also a sofa bed it isn’t necessarily meant for sitting on for any period of time really. Maybe some extra utensils/pots for the kitchen could be useful too, and some spray and extra tea towels. Positives- bed is extremely comfy. Log burner spot on. Great having a hot tub. Overall enjoyed our stay really glad we went there did exactly what we wanted. The cottage and location are very idyllic and would stay again.

We had a fantastic stay in Stable Cottage at High Paradise farm. Ginni was a very welcoming host and the accomodation had everything we needed. The location is perfect for exploring and walking in the western part of the national park. We'll definitely be returning again soon while walking the Cleveland Way as it passes straight through the farm.

The cottage was lovely and isolated which is what we wanted. After a long walk or a dip in the hot tub a nice hot shower would have been nice but the shower wasn't that powerful and the temperature difficult to control. However, there was a bath and the water was hot, you just had to wait for it to run! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the log burner a treat.

Stayed at this cottage for a quiet break. An idyllic setting with great views. No one else was staying in the adjoining cottages so we had a very quiet break. Unfortunately the owner was away and the tea room was closed. We stayed in Stable cottage which is a quaint lovely little place with a hot tub outside that is wonderful to relax in whilst watching the sunset. However we found the cottage quite unclean and there were rather a few annoyances. Such a shame as this had the potential of being an outstanding stay.

Lovely quiet setting but not really our cup of tea hence the low scores. It would certainty suit couples who like the rustic style of this accommodation where we like a bit more modern. It had everything you need for a nice stay although the frog in the bedroom on the first night was an unwelcome guest!

Nice little cottage but not private at all. When using the hot tub people are walking past you less than 3m away to get to the cafe so be prepared to keep saying hello.
