I've holidayed here for the past few years. It's a lovely relaxing location and Dave and Yvonne are excellent hosts.

We loved our break here - absolute peace and tranquility. The house catered for all our needs and was very cosy in what was a cold but bright mid-November week. We had a trip down memory lane playing records on the record player and there was plenty space for us to bring our dog. Locally we visited Sandend beach most days and used our Historic Scotland card to visit many or their locations, including Elgin Cathedral, Dallas Dhu Distillery, Duff House and Kinnaird Head Lighthouse and Museum. The owners were extremely welcoming and we felt that we walked away having made new friends of them too. We have raved about our holiday here and will be back.

Beautiful cosy cottage, stunning location, lots of wildlife, lovely owners, many local villages and harbours to visit close by. We spent a few lunchtimes in the cafe in Portsoy harbour eating Cullen Skink and oatcakes followed by sticky toffee pudding with ice cream....delicious and warming!!! We had a fabulous relaxing holiday and were sad to leave but hope to return. We highly recommend this cottage.
