We had a fantastic stay at Springfield's, the owners were there to meet us on arrival and were friendly and helpful both throughout our stay and in all communication before and after. The cottage and grounds were beautiful, warm, fully equipped and comfortable. The bar area and hot tub were a fantastic addition and well utilised by us!! We would definitely return. The only tiny issues we found were the the TV in the lounge seemed to have a poor signal and we couldn't locate the dvd remote and the shower door in the main bathroom didn't close properly. None of this hampered our stay though. Looking forward to returning.

We had a lovely stay at Springfields over new year, the house is a brilliant size for groups. The lounge and dining room worked great for us. Some elements of the house are little tired and if we could have changed anything it would have been the general cleanliness and standard of cleaning appliances available to use. Also a cloakroom / hanging area in the hall for coats.

Lovely cottage. Full of character. Very spacious. We loved the hot tub and the disco room. Great choice of music. The boys loved the air hockey and space invaders.

The pictures are very deceiving. The place is in need of some serious TLC. The heating was useless. Be the first to shower unless you enjoy a cold shower. The hot tub emptied itself, heaven only knows where the water went! The owners could do with a quick course on mobile phone etiquette. Both answering it and replying to texts would be a start. We have stopped in numerous properties and if this was our first it would definitely have been the last.

Cottage was in need of a good clean and lots of TLC. The garden was in poor condition, overgrown and no love given to it! Weeds and leaves not been touched since winter, decking a health hazard, tables broken and dirty and not able to sit out and enjoy sun during our stay, bbq is unhabitable, jacuzzi was not working the second day. Inside the house however was fairly clean, the beds were extremely clean and comfortable, Windows need good clean, showers work well and the size of property was a bonus, party room was fab, including the decs and LPs we had a good time, space raiders and machine not working and both took money entered. Overall we did have a good time but for money paid would have expected the garden to be a lot better and use able, if the above were looked at then I 100% would return as it is in a lovely location
