It has beach huts, a fabulous paddling pool and play areas, including a tennis court. Poole town is a couple of miles away, where you can enjoy the park and quayside, with its cosmopolitan pubs and restaurants, and views out to the National Trust’s Brownsea Island. From Poole Quay, you can take trips to all parts of the harbour, including the golden sands of Sandbanks and Studland, Wareham and beyond. From the ferry terminal in Hamworthy, trips to France and the Channel Islands can be done in a day. The UNESCO recognised Jurassic Coast - England’s only natural World Heritage Site, is an easy drive away, with Swanage, Lulworth and Durdle Door. There are lots of scenic coastal paths for walking and cycling routes. Attractions within the Purbecks include Farmer Palmers, Monkey World, The Tank Museum and Tyneham Village. Beach 200 yards. Enjoyed staying at this very comfy, homely flat in a very quiet street a few hundred yards from a very nice park on waters edge. (we did visit in mid November so can't say how quiet or busy this location is in summer) There are a few small beaches along the park front even when the tide is in but these are very small, but there is plenty of space to sit in the park very near the waters edge. The flat had everything you could need, very well equipped full kitchen, cooked a full roast dinner with ease. Heating was very efficient, bed was very comfortable, with high quality bedding. Very nice welcome basket was left by the owners which was most appreciated. Thank you to our host for finding out info about Remembrance day commemorations for end of WWI in advance of our visit.

The location of this holiday accommodation is superb with a beach and Hamworthy park just minutes away. You can walk to Poole harbour in about 30 minutes. We enjoyed visiting Tyneham village, Wareham, Monkey World, steam train ride from Norden to Swanage and Corfe Castle all within about 30 - 40 minutes drive.

Our two nights stay was for our Sons Wedding in Poole and Sprindrift was perfect for my husband and I to relax and leisurely prepare for the occasion also to return to. It was clean well appointed with everything we could have wished for in a perfect location and peaceful. There is nothing more that I can add other than to thank the owners for their generous welcome basket. We would love to return at some time in the future and would highly recommend it.

spindrift was a lovely place to spend our few days in Poole. Very clean and well furnished everything we needed. Very convenient took us 25mins to walk to Poole quay side but also good bus service so did not have to drive everywhere. Owners very pleasant and welcome basket appreciated.

Really lovely bungalow, home from home and very comfortable. Good location close to Poole harbour and Quay, with lots of tourist attractions within a comfortable drive. Would definitely recommend this property as one of the best we have been to - and we've been to a lot!
