The lounge/dinning room is in a south facing conservatory and due to the very hot and sunny weather there was no where to retreat to. The garden had no shade and the eating area was in full evening sun. The kitchen is very small but well equipped. There are two double bedrooms one has a window opening into the conservatory. The on-suites were very small but adequate. Four adults would struggle in this cottage. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for visiting St Michaels Mount and the local area, the beach 2 mins away.Private parking on site.

There were several plus points for this property: location, parking, 2 en-suites, but it didn't work well in hot sunny weather. The main living area was a south-west facing conservatory which became an oven in the afternoon. Windows could not be left open when we went out for the day as the lock did not work on the door leading to the bedrooms and kitchen. The windows of one bedroom opened into the conservatory, so the only air feed for the room was hot. The final gripe was the oil-fired boiler for the whole house sited next to the other bedroom. At 7.10 each morning this woke us with a start. It sounded like a jet engine. The controls were taped over, so previous visitors must have found this difficult too. It also produced fumes which never completely dispersed because the air circulation was poor.
