the cottage was in a splendid location for all amenities, however the beds were very hard and uncomfortable to the point where I had to lay a duvet under the sheet to lay on. also the parking was an issue. other than that we enjoyed our stay.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments. We are very sorry you found the mattress uncomfortable. The mattress in bedroom 1 is a medium rating. The single mattresses in bedrooms 2 and 3 are Silentnight Special Sleep and are rated as Firmer. We chose them for the wear and tear of a busy holiday home and have slept on them ourselves without any problems. It is difficult to cater to everyone’s preferences and on this occasion, we have obviously got it wrong and apologise for any discomfort you experienced. We will investigate alternatives for next season so that we can offer improved comfort. The parking can get busy at certain times, especially weekends. There are always spaces, although these might be slightly further along the road.
