The Annex is a cosy comfortable property with a few mild quirks. Initially quite cool inside until we turned the heating on, after which it soon warmed up. The bathroom has no actual window itself but has windows near the ceiling to draw light in from the main bedroom, this is ok until someone switches the bathroom light on in the middle of the night and illuminates the main bedroom. much to the surprise of the occupants. There are also some chickens kept in an adjoining garden along with a cockerel which usually started crowing at about 06:30, this was not an issue to us but possibly he may start earlier during mid summer. However, we enjoyed our holiday and would rent this property again if we were to be visiting the area again.

Reasonable accommodation in great location. Friendly owners allow dog walking in their grounds and the annex has an enclosed court yard and lawn which was ideal for our dogs. Somerton is a super friendly place with a great supermarket, bakery and pubs, very dog friendly and easy to walk to by road or footpath. Many attractions within one hour travel.

Lovely property in a nice location, local shops a 15min walk away. Great base to explore Somerset. Property itself is lovely with a garden but it could do with some updating.
