We thoroughly enjoyed staying in such a cosy and well equipped cottage. The views of the snow capped hills were stunning and the proximity to places of interest was superb. Maureen and Greg were both welcoming and helpful and gave us some good suggestions on places to visit. We would definitely recommend it, and hope to return again soon.

We stayed at Snipies Bothy as the country recovered from The Beast from the East, so there was still lying snow. The cottage was very cosy and welcoming and the owners were more than happy to help us with anything we needed. Very pet friendly, we took 3 dogs with us. Plenty of woodland walks and information within the cottage recommending places to visit etc. Close to Huntly and Inverurie. Shops, health centre and fish and chips nearby in Insch. Would love to return in fairer weather.

We have stayed at Snipie's Bothy three times now and love the area. We find Maureen & Greg very hospitable and nothing is too much trouble. The cottage is very relaxed and comfortable with stunning views and we enjoy travelling out to see new places. We would also like to say that the fresh flowers in every room are always a pleasure to see.

We were made to feel very "at Home". Attention to detail is first class from decor to baking to flowers and little extras, wonderful. Super peace and quiet but not far from lovely towns and villages. Great green countryside and not far to the coast which is really worth a visit. Maureen and Greg are so friendly and nothing is too much bother,so glad we found "Snipies"

This is quite simply the best cottage we have stayed in while on holiday. Attentive but unobtrusive management. Fantastic location with access to a 45 acre private woodland for walking our dog. The cottage is super warm, beautifully appointed and super clean, lovely touches such as milk in the fridge, fresh eggs from the hens in the paddock, a basket of biscuits, shortbread, and oat cakes. all the utensils and crockery/cutlery you would need. All in all an absolutely superb place to stay for a holiday, we left very reluctantly as we didn't want to go home.

A wonderful cottage- so cosy and homely. Decor and soft furnishings were fabulous. Hosts very helpful. No shops or pubs nearby that we found, but we were organised enough that it wasn't an issue for us, Beautiful views and nearby walks. What a treat to lie in bed with a cuppa and look at the mountains. We booked for a nearby family wedding but would recommend to anyone wanting lovely countryside and to get away from it all. So quiet!!
