Fabulous cottage with hot tub and garden in an excellent location. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The only let down was the cleanliness of the cottage, could do with a deep clean.

This is a lovely, quirky cottage. It is very spacious and well equipped, with lovely touches like tea and biscuits left for you. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The hot tub and pool table were a complete hit with my family, as was the peaceful location of the cottage in a lovely village. The let down for me was that the bathrooms were very poor - the showers had no power and the water was lukewarm at best. Trying to get your head under the shower to wash your hair was almost impossible! The taps were dripping, and the sealant round the baths in both bathrooms needed replacing. If these issues were resolved I wouldn't hesitate to return as everything else about the cottage was excellent.

Throughly enjoyed our family break in Smithy Farm. The house is full of character, very spacious and was perfect for our family - 4 adults & 1 toddler. The hot tub is definitely an added bonus and was used everyday! Thanks to Victoria for all your help & accommodating us. The location is ideal for visiting local attractions like Chester Zoo, The Ice cream Factory and all the lovely towns. The 4 bedrooms were spacious, the 2 living-rooms were perfect for our family and great big kitchen with everything you need!...just mind your head on the beans in s few of the rooms. Highly recommend this holiday home and we will definitely be visiting here again.

We had a lovely time, Vicky is a helpful and welcoming host. There is plenty of room for 6 people, the cottage is well equipped, the location is quiet but with great access to Chester, Liverpool, and the hot tub is great.

Upon arrival the owner was very friendly and showed us around the property, answering any questions we had. The cottage was beautifully clean, spacious, warm and full of character. Everything we needed was provided and it was lovely to find milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. Smithy Farm is situated on a quiet village road but just 1 min from the main road meaning you could get around really easily. The local Chinese is lovely and deliver promptly and the local pub grub was excellent value for money. Didn’t want our holiday to end and will definitely be returning to Smithy Farm in the future!

Lovely charming little cottage with an amazing modern hot tub which is under cover so handy in the winter months as you can still use it when it rains. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need to cook with. We booked an Asda delivery and it arrived no problems at all. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner and she’s always on hand should you need her. We’ve visited few hot tub cottages and this is definitely our favourite.
