Lovely rural location great if you have a dog to use the open fields adjacent. The cottage is great for a couple the bedroom is super cosy the shower room is a good standard and there is central heating if you go out of season, really great place to chill for a bit.

Great location for dog friendly cottages. Weston beach only a few miles away. Would recommend these cottages for a quiet relaxed break from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The location was ideal for us. At the base of the Mendips, it was the antithesis of where we actually live. In the middle of a tourist town. The owners, James and Amy, with their charming daughter, were very welcoming and easy to talk to. James is very laid back and easy to get on with. The building of Little Warf is small, but for two people, in our opinion big enough. Very positive so far, but like everything, nothing is perfect. Sorry, James. We found that the mattress was really quite lumpy and because we have a King-sized bed, the size of the bed was hard to tolerate. I find that qenerally, people who supply holiday accommodation usually go for the cheapest furniture and equipment and I was not disappointed here. For me, it shows a lack of respect to the people who are going to use it. On the other hand, I know that holiday makers are, perhaps, not too careful when they stay in the accommodation. Whilst I would not expect everything to be bought from Harrods, Ikea is a bit of a blow to the solar plexus. The kitchen equipment was adequate, but, like the other furniture, the television is on the, this’ll do side. Another downside was the adjoining accommodation called, Sunnyside. We were next door to a family, I am glad we do not live next door to. They were loud. Very loud and to some extent spoiled our weekend. They had a grown daughter who just would not shut up, from the moment she got up to the moment she went to bed. In theory because bathrooms backed on to each other, the noise from one to the other, should have been minimal, but it didn’t work out that way. So there we are. Apart from the bed, I would recommend Little Warf. The neighbour is a lottery wherever we go. We will return and give it another shot, because the peace we experienced, when the neighbours were out, was wonderful, the views stunning and the night skies, just out of this world. Excuse the pun.
