Lovely cottage, had everything needed for our holiday. Plenty of room, clean and well equipped, lovely lounge with sofas and comfy seating for everyone in our party. Good location, on waterside by some private moorings, close for fishing. Only negative for elderly or small children is that the stairs up to the bedrooms are very steep and shallow, but do have 2 handrails.

We loved everything about this cottage. The space was amazing and everything you could possibly need was there. We stayed during at was an extremely hot time - we took fans but there were two supplied at the cottage. The fridge/freezer in the kitchen was fine but the additional larger one was great for all our extra drinks, ice creams and ice that was needed in the heat. Though it was very hot outside the cottage remained cool on entry and the bedrooms were fine at night so we all slept. The kitchen is so well stocked with china, glasses, mugs and cutlery. The washing machine was handy along with the rotary clothes line. The colouring book and crayons left for our toddler was a lovely touch. The bed linen and towels were of a very high quality - I felt they were particularly brand new. There was even a dog bowl and poo bags incase you forgot to bring your own. The wifi connnection was very good for those who require this. We loved that large dining room table for evening gatherings. A lot of time was spent in the garden where fortunatley there was a tree for shade (I know there are not many times you would need this but we certainly made use of it). Hiring a boat from the yard next door was very convenient. The guys at the boatyard were very friendly - they help us pump up the paddling pool. You can also hire fishing rods from the yard and they sell ice creams. The location of the cottage is superb - only a short walk into town for Tescos and lovely meals at the Swan Pub.
