Silver Cottage is lovely barn conversion located in the popular seaside village of Combe Martin. The upside down configuration means the property makes the most of its position with views to the sea from the Juliet balcony in the living room. There is a turning staircase leading to the lower ground floor which may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. This floor floor the master bedroom with en-suite has direct access to the enclosed garden and patio area. The village of Combe Martin has a good range of shops and local amenities. There is a great little beach which at low tide has some great areas to do some rock pooling. There is plenty to do within easy distance of the house. In Ilfracombe there are the Tunnel beaches, harbour and numerous shops and restaurants. Other attractions close by include the Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and the Lynton to Lynmouth Victorian cliff railway all make for a good day out. At Croyde and Woolacombe you will find some of the best, and cleanest, surf beaches in the country, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor is a short distance away and on a clear day the views can be spectacular. There is a good range of walking for all abilities on Exmoor and the slightly more challenging South West Coast Path. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes and RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Great Torrington. Shop 600 yards, pub 500 yards, restaurant 200 yards.
