Sigma Apartment is a lower ground floor apartment that has been beautifully finished to a very high standard, with thoughtful touches and comfortable furnishings throughout. Off the driveway head down the external steps to a private entrance, you will enter into the main room of the apartment which has a studio layout, this room holds the sitting area, with large comfortable sofa, reasonably sized Smart TV with Sky, and an electric wood burner. There is a luxurious double bed that has a pull-out bed underneath which can hold two infants. Also in this room is a hanging rail for clothes and a dining table with two chairs. Separately, there is a shower room which is generously sized with adequate ventilation and a galley kitchen which has all the appliances and items you should need for the duration of your stay.
On foot from the property, you can enjoy an abundance of local walks, there is a 45-minute trail loop in the immediate area, or you can explore the dales along with Buxton’s famous route, Solomon’s Temple. The town hosts many events in the pavilion gardens, shows weekly at the opera house, plus a vast variety of cuisines in the restaurants and bars. There are high street shops but also some boutique shops run by residents which are a joy to walk around. Buxton is famously known as a spa town, it offers the Dome Spa and the recently renovated five star Crescent Spa, with a stunning roof top pool which is well worth a visit. If you wish to venture into city life for a day, hop on the train which runs direct into Manchester city centre with late return trains available.
Further out of the town you can explore Bakewell, Chatsworth, and Castleton to name a few other places. After a busy day of exploring, you can enjoy a delicious home cooked meal at the pub close by to the apartment which has warming fires lit through the colder months and fantastic wines and ales.
