Sheeoch is a delightful, spacious detached bungalow in the picturesque village of Comrie, just a 10-minute walk from the village centre. This contemporary accommodation is perfect to unwind in after a day exploring. The enclosed rear garden is a great place for children to play in, or relax with a glass of wine in the large, bright living room and take in the superb views. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is a perfect place for everyone to sit together and plan the next day’s adventure.
The village, which is on the banks of the River Earn amidst glorious Perthshire countryside, has a good selection of eating places, local shops, a cricket club and one of Scotland’s most scenic 9-hole golf courses. There are local events, including Comrie Fortnight in early August and Flambeau New Year celebrations. From you doorstep, you can enjoy lots of lovely cycle routes and walks, and for the more adventurous, there are 43 munro mountains within a 1-hour drive. Loch Earn is 6 miles away, which offers sailing and water sports, and for nature lovers, the Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre is just 2 miles. There are many interesting places to visit in the area, including historic castles and gardens, and whisky distilleries. Stirling is 24 miles away, Perth 25 miles, Callander 26 miles, Glasgow 50 miles and Edinburgh 60 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
