270 degrees of stunning beach and coastal views.
The perfect relaxing retreat for families or couples.
Imagine waking up to the sunrise overlooking two of England’s best beaches at Sennen and towards Cape Cornwall, and in the evening having sunsets from the terrace overlooking the Land’s End Lighthouse and the Scilly Isles. All this from visitors’ own 270-degree living room (40ft across) designed in the round with seven sets of sliding patio doors leading out onto a huge decked terrace. This house is in the most stunning location nestling high on the headland at Mayon Cliff surrounded by National Trust land and the dramatic coastline towards Land’s End. Shark Fin is the ultimate architect-designed house with all the very latest hi-tech eco features. Use of the natural environment has been paramount to harness the earth’s energy. A heat pump with two 80-metre boreholes provides zoned underfloor heating to all rooms, solar panels discreetly incorporated into the rear roof slopes provide energy for hot water and photovoltaic panels for electricity generation. Sennen Cove boasts one of the loveliest stretches of sand in Cornwall and still retains much of the original atmosphere of a fishing village with its own life boat stations. A very popular spot for surfers and for families with children. This property is ideal for friends or families looking to walk or relax and watch the sun set over the ocean. On the beach there is a lovely restaurant, a café and a local village pub ‘The Old Success’. Also two other cafes, tea rooms and local shops are a short walk down the cliff from the property. Visit the nearby Minack Theatre with its open air amphitheatre cut into the cliff looking across the ocean. It is a short air trip from Land’s End airport to the Isles of Scilly.

We had a wonderful time at Shark Fin this summer. A real "wow" property with stunning views from the amazing floor to ceiling windows. Beautifully kitted out property with lots of space - more than I expected from the pictures. The rooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms were great and the outside furniture enabled us to make the most of stunning sunsets/sunrises (we even saw a huge pod of dolphins early one morning). We were a mixed generation party of 7 and had a wheelchair user in our party, but had plenty of space for everyone. Sennen and Sennen Cove are great for walking and surfing and there's plenty to explore near by. We would definitely like to return - thank you.

Wonderful location with stunning views and Sennen Cove is delightful. Really liked the living space with picture windows all round. But there were a number of issues with the property which need addressing bearing in mind the premium price that is charged. The upstairs bathroom was dirty and the basin lights didn't work so it was very gloomy. The creaking floorboards are a real drawback and have been mentioned in other reviews - they need fixing since they really disturb those sleeping downstairs. The floor of the living space was also dirty and there was an old cookie left in one corner - the whole area needed to be deep cleaned. One TV was not working and the freebox was also temperamental - so any TV was a challenge! At the price being charged there should be internet or a better TV arrangement. Lack of WiFi was a nuisance! Disappointing that such a stunning holiday home was let down by things that could easily be and should be dealt with.
