altogether a perfect cottage for a seaside holiday! a pity that the dunure inn is shut as that would have made it even better, however the harbour café is lovely- the breakfast rolls hit the spot and the lunches are great- all made fresh! the cottage has the best views of the rugged shore- we ate breakfast watching the waves. very very relaxing.

Well this is our second visit and it certainly won’t be our last. This lovely spacious cottage which feels like home as soon as you walk through the front door has the most enviable position almost on the seashore of Dunure and it’s stunning castle and dovecote. No matter what kind of weather nature throws at you the sea and sky are ever changing and beautiful. My Hubby and our two dogs had a lovely chilled week and to be honest I didn’t want to come home. Can’t wait to return to this very special place.

Disabled access to shower and only a few steps throughout ground floor area. Excellent for older people too.

Location is fantastic, right on the beach. Couple of things to note; hot water in kitchen runs quite slow and in the toilet, the cistern takes an age to fill. Not a problem for two but could be if more are sharing! Overall, cleanliness is acceptable but again could be better, especially the small kitchen window and blinds - very dusty. But saying all that, I would go back.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments, there is a fault with the factory finish on the kitchen window so we will be getting that sorted.
