Seaview lives up to its name and is a fantastic place to relax. My only disappointments were a lack of wifi, internet and phone signal which made it impossible to communicate with family and friends which was a shame as we celebrated an important birthday whilst there but couldn't get any messages. The TV image was also very poor (could easily be upgraded with a better decoder). Great place to unwind and get away from it all in total quiet. No supermarkets nearby so take food with you!

We had a very relaxing stay at seaview, local cafe food was lovely and local pub Steam Packet friendly.

Loved the cottage and the area, we had a peaceful and relaxing few days at Seaview, just what we needed, lots of lovely walks from the cottage door. The only downside was that the garden was not enclosed and was used by a local dog as a toilet, although we were most impressed that all of the other dogs which were walked past were on a lead.

Second time in the cottage, perfect again. Just so expensive :( would love a weekend in the Summer but can’t justify the cost so will be in touch with locals who rent privately :(

Excellent! We have had the best Christmas ever. Just myself, husband, two daughters and two dogs. They were all concerned re the no signal and no Wi-fi but it wasn’t a problem at all. We are on O2 so managed to get 3G in the house and 4G when we walked to the light house. We spent Christmas Day in the pub with the locals which made our day very special. Such lovely friendly people. The house was clean and warm and so much space for my dogs. I’d like to thanks the owners for a house that made our Christmas special. It was complete paradise from the usual hustle and bustle. Absolutely loved this place. It gave us the chance of real family time. Due to there being no Wi-fi my girls didn’t want to use their data so instead of being on their phones we played games and I can’t remember laughing so much. I know this may sound too good to be true but we honestly loved the place. Huge thumbs up from this family.

Beautiful well equipped bungalow with stunning views & great walks on the doorstep. Our dogs loved it! No real amenities, small shop 3 miles away and all three of us had no mobile signal or internet which was bliss for me but not to everyones liking. I loved the peace & quiet sitting watching the waves crash onto the rocks. We will definitely book again

This cottage is in a very remote part of Scotland, which may not be to everyone's liking. Nevertheless, the setting and view of the harbour make a pleasing outlook and there are beautiful areas to visit within a short drive. Basics are catered for in the local shop and the village pub/restaurant, but there is barely any Mobile Phone signal nor Wifi - which could add to the appeal for some. The accommodation is spacious and comfortably equipped, although it lacked any 'homely' feel, being somewhat 'cold' and functional. Heating and hot water were both very efficient, but there were a few minor defects which ought really have been attended to. (It should also be noted that the outside decking can be lethally slippery on wet days.) A pleasant enough stay, remarkably with not a midge to be seen, albeit that the Scottish weather did live up to it's reputation on a couple of days.
