Lovely property right on the beach with all the standard facilities and great views. Soon get used to noise of main road into village along front of property. Surprisingly vehicles are permitted to drive and park on beach, most did a sensible speed. No private car parking which wasn’t a problem out of season. Village has 2 nice pubs with great food but neither is dog friendly which seems to be typical in Ireland except in Dublin. Most of the roads are poorly maintained which increases driving time to and from the many tourist sites and places to visit.

This is a brilliant house, right on the beach and in a lovely little village. Several places to eat no matter what your budget. From pub in village to Templars to the Aldridge plus many more eating establishments. Very sad this year that at present the only shop is closed and up for sale. Ok you can drive about 7 minutes to Ramsgrange where there is everything you might want but it was lovely to walk around village, get paper etc. Beach House is a great house, great views, just great and sure you pay a bit more than other houses but it is worth it.

Had a amazing time we’ve booked again for next year for our 3rd stay! The views are amazing and the location to the beach is second to none. There is limited “local” amenities however it’s only a 10-15 minuets drive to the nearest supermarket and there’s a lovely pub and chip shop 2 minuets away. It really does feel like a home from home and we cannot wait to get back next year!
