Description

Set all on one level, this stylish property is just a short drive from the Broads and wonderful sandy beaches.

These stunningly presented, single-storey barn conversions (refs UKC1329, UKC1330 and UKC522) have a contemporary style that offers great accommodation for families or friends holidaying together. The properties are located in open countryside just over 4 miles away from the coastal village of Happisburgh with its iconic red and white striped lighthouse. Guests can enjoy the 1¼-acre grounds with a wildflower meadow and willow wigwams; explore the sandy unspoilt beaches of the Norfolk coast; marvel at the hundreds of seal pups at Horsey Gap Beach in the winter months; or visit the seaside town of Cromer, with its pier, and enjoy a day on the beach. There is a beach hut available for the use of guests at Seaglass Barns, which includes body boards, wetsuits, tea and coffee making facilities, beach towels and children’s play equipment. Once you have explored the coast, venture to the Broads which are only a short drive away. Wroxham, known as the ‘Capital of the Broads’, lets visitors hire a day cruiser to see all the pretty Broads’ villages. For children, a day out to BeWILDerwood at Horning is a must; this outdoor adventure park has zip wires, jungle bridges and lots more. Weavers Way is just a short walk from the barns and is ideal for birdwatching or walking. There is a fishing lake just 1 mile away, and day fishing tickets can be purchased at the lake. Gardeners will enjoy a visit to East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens with its acres of delightful and interesting gardens. There are National Trust properties in the region which are well a worth visit. Alternatively spend a day in the fine city of Norwich with its theatres, cathedrals, museums, outdoor market, cobbled streets and enjoy a fine array of shops and cafés. Walking, cycling, birdwatching, fishing and sailing are all available locally. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

A beautiful barn conversion set in pretty countryside in the middle of nowhere but not that far from anywhere by car so incredibly peaceful. Fist impressions amazing to walk into a luxury modern barn and find the most amazing hamper of food (prosecco, Waitrose food got breakfast the next day, large chocolate bar to name but a few). Incredibly comfortable beds all very clean and new looking, dressing gowns slippers and fluffy towels was more like a spa especially with hot tub on decking. Secured garden which offered reasonable privacy overlooking stunning wild flower meadow which was picture perfect. Loved this place definitely would recommend and hope to return soon. Ideal base for exploring coasts and broads

Beautiful open plan kitchen diner and living room which was great for socialising. The beds are very comfortable and loved the hot tub - shame it’s not in the sun but that’s down to the position of the barn.

Lovely and modern, well equipped and as we stayed in January the value for money was excellent. However the barn is driving distance from most places so unfortunately you cannot go to a pub or have a night out but not a major problem we also suffered some strong winds and had a power cut 4 out of the 7 days we was there but again not too much of a issue also WiFi is poor and you won’t get any mobile signal so don’t expect to be in touch with family or friends.

The best equipped holiday rental that I have ever stayed in. Not only for the basic but for those little luxuries that make it special. Modern, tastefully decorated and being open plan means that, even when you're cooking, you're still part of what's going on. Cooking a full roast dinner was easy with the range cooker and masses of kitchen equipment and crockery (tons more than just 6 of everything, which is normal for a 6 person rental). Real luxury, big fluffy white towels and dressing gowns. Hot tub was great as was the welcome pack which contained everything for our first breakfast and more. Even the dog was thought about, doggy shower, towel and treats. Although very rural (not the place for you if you want a stroll to shops) it was just what we wanted. Supermarket is less than 2 miles away, so easy to get supplies. Dishwasher and washer/dryer come with tablets which is a rarely. Netflix keeps the kids (and the husband) amused. Have already recommended it to friends, will definitely return.

A lovely place to stay. The owners have put a lot of thought into their cottages. We particularly loved the welcome box, picnic hamper and beach hut.
