Lovely cottage which was clean and well equipped but no high chair available . Short walk to the sea front . Good location for day trips out . No local shop.

Property is in an excellent location with the beach just down a steep hill. Pub restaurant next door and upmarket restaurant by the beach. Generous parking space. Property is very warm even without the heating. Constant hot water and shower is fine. KS bed is a bit low and hard, we used the twin beds and slept on the duvets. We had a short power cut in the village one night, there is a small torch in a bedroom, but was no real problem. Back on in a couple of hours. WiFi was ok. Tv went a bit crazy on BBC channels last couple of nights, I think due to atmospheric conditions as my phone went continental. Kitchen well equipped and we had a small welcome pack.

Excellent cottage in a beautiful location. Close to beach (pebbles) which is gorgeous - but NOT suitable for swimming. Not an issue as others are close by - like Weymouth which is very safe, shallow and calm. Lots to do in the area for kids and adults alike. Great pubs / restaurants locally too from the Manor Inn (next door) to the Crown (nearby village). Tank museum is a must as is West Bay (where Broadchurch was filmed) and Lyme Regis (parking tricky to recommend park & ride). Wonderful welcome basket on arrival. Beautifully cosy cottage which the family loved. Nice garden with outside seating. Views of sea all round. Dishwasher and washing machine - both came in very handy. We had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday and look forward to returning some time soon. Highly recommended.
