Great base from which to explore the Dorset coast. Basic provisions can be bought locally but a car is needed for anything more. Accommodation is very comfortable, limited only by have a single bathroom and no dishwasher.

We had a great week at Sea Stones. Home from home! Really clean and tidy with a cosy cottage feel. Ideal location for a Portland holiday and only 5-10 minutes away from the National Sailing Academy which was the purpose of our trip. Thank you Lisa for the good communication and making sure we had everything we needed. See you again soon.

We were only there for 3 nights, although it rained on the last day we made the most of the day. The stairs were steep for the older members but we allocated the bedrooms accordingly, it was a shame that there was only 1 bathroom as there were 6 ladies! All in all no complaints about the house, it was a good relaxing catch up and enjoyed exploring Portland.

This is a fairly nice house with a good location, but: - there is only one toilet, and that is in the bathroom (not good for a family of 5) - there is no wi-fi - there is no garden, just a small back yard - we had a lot of trouble with the rubbish collection - the heating didn't work until the day before we left - there is no dishwasher If this were a cheap house, I wouldn't be bothered about any of this, but it's actually pretty expensive, so I expected much more.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We were sorry to see the property did not match with your expectations. It is regularly graded by Visit England and has received a four star quality grading. Pricing, description and facilities are all considered in this grading. Regarding bins, as explained to you during your stay, unfortunately a collection was missed, this was rearranged asap but due to the Bank Holiday there was a delay. Our caretaker deals with all this so there was no requirement for your involvement. Regarding heating, we have a service contract to fix any issues within 4 hours, unfortunately this only works if we are alerted to the problem.
