The extensive surf washed golden sands of Woolacombe, unquestionably one of the finest Blue Flag beaches in Britain, is just a short walk away. Woolacombe village itself is lively and popular with all age groups, offering a selection of pubs, restaurants, shops, amusements. A network of coastal footpaths can be taken from your doorstep, or a short drive to nearby Ilfracombe, Lee Bay, the remaining Golden Coast beaches of Croyde, Saunton and Exmoor National Park. Woolacombe beach ½ mile. Shop 55 yards and pub ½ mile.

    Sands is a beautiful, tastefully furnished, spacious, modern apartment with stunning views of Woolacombe bay and surrounding countryside. It is very close to Woolacombe Bay caravan park which has a small supermarket which guests can use. There is also a childrens play park and tennis courts immediately opposite the property. The only downside as far as we were concerned is the steps up to the apartment - 27 in all, including some metal ones towards the top, so not suitable for elderly people or those with mobility problems.

    Really good. A little bit further out than I thought and steps up to flat (32) a bit too much for my 88 year old mum but probably my fault didn’t see it if mentioned. Should mention it to guests if you don’t already

    In reality this is not a Cottage , it is an apartment in a large semi detached house . However it is so well appointed , tasteful and comfortable I would say it is an excellent location for a family holiday or quiet retreat . There’s a very steep walk down and back from the town and bay but it’s worth it. The apartment is fabulous in every way and I would definitely book again .

    Great views, great location, next to a shop and local amenities and a short walk to the beach. Great apartment and very friendly owners.
