Shiel is one of two fabulous glamping pods ideally located overlooking Loch Sunart. Ideal for a couple looking to take a break either for an action packed activity retreat or some romantic time away with the better half. Perhaps travel with some friends and book the other pod, Shiel (UK39866) at the same time and enjoy some extra fun filled company during the day before retiring into the hotel bar for a refreshment.
The pod sleeps two adults comfortably and has the mod cons required for any duration of stay. The living space has a double bed and there is a sofa for relaxing in front of the TV after a day exploring. The kitchen has all the appliances you will need, however given that the hotel serves food, it’s likely that guests will enjoy taking advantage of this in times where guests frankly cannot be bothered to cook - you’ll likely be on holiday after all. The shower room within the pod is surprisingly spacious for what it is, and in turn with the rest of the pod is immaculate and modern in finish.
Locally, guests will be hard pushed not to be awe at the scenery. Walks catering for the expert hillwalker to the novice can be found all round the area. Take a trip to the World Famous Glenfinnan Viaduct and if you’re lucky and the timing is right, you might even see the Harry Potter Express. Likewise, a trip to Glencoe will be a memory to cherish, again one of Scotland’s most famous scenes. Head west and discover why this coastal party of Scotland is so well regarded and why it gives the natives a real sense of pride. Likely you’ll find a sandy beach all to yourselves.
