Gather your family or friends and head over to this beautifully presented holiday cottage, which nestles in South Cornwall with many activities perfect for all ages.

These stylish properties are located within a quiet, residential cul-de-sac and provide delightful living accommodation. Saffron (UKC397) is a detached four-bedroomed family home that provides wheelchair access to the ground floor, and generous double bedrooms. Crocus (UKC3429) is a semi-detached one-bedroomed bungalow that provides an idyllic enclosed lawned garden.
Within half a mile of the property facilities include a pub, shop selling homemade Cornish pasties, a children’s play park, fish and chip shop, restaurants and takeaways. Situated within a short walk is St Austell town centre and railway station.
Saffron also provides easy access to the nearby clay trails and popular tourist attractions including The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Charlestown harbour, the home of the tall ships and various pubs. The working fishing village of Mevagissey is located just 4 miles away and is a popular tourist area. The nearby harbour town of Fowey is located just 7 miles distant, and offer outstanding days out, coupled with a car ferry service to Polruan. Beaches are found at Charlestown, Porthpean and Crinnis, and are all within 10 minutes’ drive. Truro with its Gothic cathedral, cinema, theatre, shopping and museum is well worth a day out and is within 30 minutes’ drive. Many walks can be taken around this part of the county from coastal rambles, disused heritage trails that cross the county, to inland wooded walks to something a little more strenuous for the more active. Horse riding, surfing, cycling and National Trust houses and gardens are plentiful in the area. A little further afield but easily reached is Truro, Padstow, Newquay, St Ives and Lostwithiel all providing an alternative view of this dramatic and beautiful county. Fishing can be found locally. Beach 1½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

    A group of us stayed at Saffron as a base to explore the local area. The house was spotless and more than suitable for a large group. There was ample parking, and a good garden. The kitchen was lovely and the front room was massive

    We were very pleased by the size of the property and it was very comfortable and great value for money! It was a long walk to town and shops but once you got there the shops were great especially the range of Charity shops which we loved. As a base to visit lots of new places it was very well situated and this made up for the lack of walks and things to see nearby

    Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Saffron. Having four bathrooms was ideal and also the downstairs bedroom was very useful as one of our party was disabled. It is ideally situated for The Eden Project and Heligon. Mevagissey and Charlestown are within easy reach and Bodmin is worth a visit. We would certainly recommend Saffron to friends and family. Charmaine had left us a Saffron cake and scones and cream which was much appreciated.
