Love everything about this wonderful place in beautiful Stogumber. I am a repeat customer and can't wait to return again.

Well equipped with good kitchen and facilities. However, no welcome pack and some standard items were not provided such as wastepaper bins in bedrooms and kitchen bin liners. For those guests who may find the double bed too low, the singles are extremely comfortable as are the pillows.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Saffies. The cottage was bright airy and very comfortable. The weather was lovely quite a few days, but when it did turn wet the cottage was warm and welcoming. Was a lovely place to return to after a days exploring the local area. Could possible do with more wardrobe space in the main bedroom, we were a party of two and able to use the wardrobe in the twin room but parties of 4 wouldn't have the option. This is only a minor issue and would not diminish the appeal of the cottage. The village pub was only 3-4 min walk and was welcoming. Served food after 7 pm. The shop next door was quite well stocked though we only needed bread and milk.

Plenty of space and light in the cottage, and underfloor heating which, when it's on, is very effective and comfortable to live with. Lots to do in the West Somerset area, although driving in narrow lanes can be a challenge!

Really enjoyed our stay at Saffies. Clean, airy, modern and homely. Had everything we needed and such a bonus to have a pretty garden to enjoy. Waking up to the gentle singing of birds and the trickling stream nearby was so idyllic. The village was quaint and very friendly. We would love to return. Thoroughly recommend.

Clean, comfortable cottage: nice location: post office and pub in the village. Not exactly in a quiet place with a large rookery in nearby trees but lots of interesting birds and we saw a badger. Recommend the West Somerset steam railway.
