Very pretty location, convenient for Newhaven-Dieppe ferry and within easy reach of beautiful countryside and attractive little towns/villages/beaches. Shower room very good, WiFi reliable and quick. Owner very friendly/genial, speaks excellent English and translates patiently into French to help learning! We were able to use outdoor table tennis and swing facilities. Owner's husband makes excellent cider :) Animals very friendly! Cottage needed mopping on arrival and some pots were found to be dirty. Linens were not of expected standard (both bed linen and towels were disposable, and therefore extra charge seems excessive). Living room furniture was uncomfortable and has seen better days! Fridge/freezer and dishwasher unreliable, oven is old and therefore temperamental. Signs of damp/mould in bedrooms. Generally, more care needs to be taken with this property.

A lovely cottage in a stunning location with a very friendly English speaking owner. We loved the daily visits from the hens and the dog. Loads of places to visit and plenty of suburb places to eat. Please bear in mind if choosing to book that no TV reception is available and parking is tight on the gravel drive. We loved our visit to France and have booked again for next March, we have decided to go further down this time. If you want a peaceful break in a beautiful location you can not do better than this, we will return in the future.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the agency; It’s great to hear that you enjoyed your stay. The owner has advised she had a huge tree cut down as this was interfering with the reception! The tv is now working properly, so there should be no problem watching the World Cup on the French channels!
