Yorkshire Cottages

The Yorkshire Regional Specialist -Fantastic properties in the most favourable locations. No one knows Yorkshire better!

Enjoy coastal walks and beautiful beaches during your stay on the East Yorkshire coast.

This ground floor apartment makes a great base for all that the East Coast has to offer, and is just a short stroll to the long sandy beach - perfect for long walks with the dog. You can walk along the cliffs to Sewerby and Flamborough Head passing through Danes Dyke, a fantastic nature reserve. Danes Dyke runs for 4km along the Flamborough headland from the nature reserve itself right up to Bempton Cliffs RSPB bird sanctuary. Thousands of migrating sea birds are the main attraction at Bempton and you’ll see lots of puffins and kittiwakes as well as the odd seal lazing on the rocks. You have everything on the doorstep at Ryburn, including shops, pubs, restaurants and the famous Spa Theatre where you can see some excellent shows all year round. The leisure centre is also very popular with its swimming pools, climbing walls and health suite. Yorkshire is famous for its stately homes and Sewerby Hall, Burton Agnes Hall and the wonderful Sledmere House are all within a short drive. Travelling north from Bridlington there’s the seaside town of Scarborough and further north Whitby, both worth a visit during your stay. Hull, the UK City of Culture 2017, is only an hour by car, as is York, a stunning medieval city that’s always voted within the top 10 UK cities to visit. Shop and restaurant 150 yards, pub 100 yards.

We didn't notice it was a pet friendly place to stay when we booked. Even though there were air fresheners plugged in we could still detect doggy smells. That is the only reason we wouldn't stay again but the mini break and accomodation otherwise was fine.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Carpet has now been changed to hard flooring to eliminate chance of doggy odours.

Had to make a complaint as several small things needed attention and considering it is only the start of the season these issues should have been sorted

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; The complaint was about the bathroom with a tap that was loose and a small leak. The bathroom has had a total refit this year and these were just teething problems that have now been fixed. The complaint was also that the freezer was dirty, but on inspection this was from dye from a food box that had stained the floor of the freezer. I am sorry if the customer felt these spoilt her holiday and can assure you that we work very hard to offer a high standard and pleasant holiday accommodation.
