What a lovely cottage, owners and area. We felt really spoilt it was a home from home. The accommodation was great and the amount of ensuites and bathrooms was fabulous as did not have to wait for each other to get ready. We went around all the area and enjoyed seeing the castles, Beamish, Hadrians Wall and the cities and towns around. Such a pretty area. The owners Gen and Monica were lovely so helpful and left flowers, wine and eggs which were lovely. We would recommend this lovely cottage to anyone. Only thing missing was a hot tub to sit and relax in the evening but can't have everything.

We stayed as a family of six adults and two children at Ryandale for a weeks holiday. We loved the cottage, it had everything we could have wanted. It was very spacious and comfortable with plenty of equipment. The enclosed garden was brilliant for the kids as we knew they were safe. It is in a great location for lots of places, Alnwick, Newcastle, Amble and we had some nice days out. The owners Glen and Marie were lovely and showed us round so we knew everything we needed to, they also left flowers, wine and milk for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely spacious and clean property, easily would accommodate eight adults. Well equipped and with friendly informative hosts - also available a very short distance away for any queries or problems. Parking 'disc' provided for free parking in local towns which was a welcome bonus - make sure you note the time of free parking as this does vary from car park to car park. Well situated being close to local attractions with lots within a thirty minute car journey. Cottage is very close to a railway line and crossing but have to say that we didn't particularly notice any excess noise. At the recommendation of the hosts used the train to travel into Newcastle which worked perfectly with free parking at Morpeth station and once in Newcastle everything was easily within walking distance. Information on beaches and attractions also provided.
