Lovely’beach themed’ cottage. For the price parts were quite tired in terms of decoration and floor was very dirty. I had to mop the floors when I first got there as our socks/ slippers were filthy on the bottoms. I do not think that the floors had been mopped before we got there.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Rubygem. Apologies for the lack of cleanliness of the floor, have spoken to our cleaning company manager who also apologised and has spoken to the staff concerned. Hopefully this will not be the case in the future for our customers on arrival, as we are very proud of our high scores overall for cleanliness of the cottage. Thank you once again, and we hope this incident didn’t spoil your holiday in anyway.

Ruby Gem is a great cottage in a fantastic location. The Cottage catered for all our needs and was very well presented throughout. The beach nearby is a lovely beach and very Dog friendly as is the cottage. There is a brilliant pub just a stride away from the cottage which serves amazing food at very reasonable prices and dogs are allowed throughout, this was very important to us as we involve our little dog in all we do on holiday. The village itself is very nice and the local people are so friendly. We will definitely stay at Ruby Gem again in the future all in all it was a fantastic holiday we would highly recommend this cottage and the location.

We had a great visit and we will be back. Daisy our dog is still sulking as she loved being on the beach every day. I think you need a dog to be allowed in the pub as there seem to be more dogs. Didn't like there was not enough hot water for a bath that's all. Did not sleep well and the bathroom is downstairs which I did not like that's my moans if I had to.
