Well appointed cottage spoilt only by crockery being left dirty in cupboards from previous occupants.

Tessa's Cottage was absolutely spotless. Very well equipped for cooking and supporting our break. The size of the pub was initially a concern but extremely friendly, quiet and no hassle. Focused on entertaining kids and food. No late opening and absolutely no disturbance!

Positives - the location is good, the pub next door was really friendly and the cottage was spotlessly clean and very modern. Negatives - Two areas that would really improve the cottage, it needs a wardrobe. We only stayed for 3 nights, but given it is rented out for 7 just having some hooks on the inside of the bathroom door isn't sufficient for clothes on a weeks holiday. Also we found it really hard to sleep as the cottage is far too light on a night, there are bright lights directly outside on all night and the venetian blinds don't black this out. Also there is a very bright green light in the ceiling of the lounge, which given the bedroom is open plan to the lounge also glows and lights the cottage all night. This meant our two dogs also struggled to settle on a night so were regularly padding about on a noisy wood laminate floor. With a little more attention to detail the cottage could be really lovely.
