One walk will take you to the pretty village of Newton St Cyres with its cosy gastro pub and brewery with a covered balcony, tiered garden and a menu of global food. Golf, fishing and riding are available locally, and for family fun, Crealy Great Adventure Park and Go Ape Forest Adventure are close by. From sleepy market towns to miles and miles of coastline, which is much loved by surfers, swimmers, families and walkers, this stunning location has something for everyone. Beach 17 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

After 25 years of cottage holidays this is right up there - probably the best. Pretty much everything you need is here, even a sewing kit in case a button falls off. There is loads to do in the area, but the view from the panoramic sliding windows is so amazing you might just want to stay in and watch the world go by. Had a really good New Year week back in the "home town" - the highlight being viewing the people of Exeter's New Year Firework display that went well into 2019 from what seemed the top of the world.

We booked this place for a family break with two young children. It really is a beautiful place with stunning views. It's a tranquil location and very green, so very different to smoky London. We didn't want to leave. The children loved it. The owners, Bret and Angela, ensured we had everything we needed, so it really did feel like a home from home. Would love to visit again.
