A family holiday including a 3 year old, poor was brilliant for us! Things to do for the family which wernt too far.looking to book another stay for next year already with more family members! Only complain is the bed in the ensuit room, very small, just odds and sods really. But noting we can't cope with. Thank you, can't wait for next year!

Lovely week away bungalow great size for family but does need a good deep clean and touch up. Beds not very comfortable maybe new matressess. Cooking pans all need to be renewed as well used. If it had a makeover would defo rent again as ideal for large family with the pool and hot tub and a large enclosed garden.

The bungalow has so much potential, but as with other visitors, there is a lot to do, to justify the 4 star rating given. The pool is in great need up an upscale, and has some quite dangerous edging as well as a poor ladder. Cleanliness was poor, the mattresses in the larger rooms were uncomfortable, and need to be changed. The lawn although cut was not great as well. We have taken many cottage holidays over the last 10 years, and this was the first that there has not been a welcome pack. On the plus side, we all enjoyed the hot tub and there is ample space for a large family. Additionally this is a good location for many places to visit in Norfolk & Surrounds and we enjoyed Sandringham, Hunstantion, Wroxham as well as days out at Dinosaur Adventure Land & especially Pensthorpe Nature Park which is only a few miles away.

Bungalow it’s self was ok lots of space. My low grading was due to very uncomfortable beds and the very disappointing pool. We paid that bit extra for the luxury of our own pool but sadly was very let down. The pictures on the wed site look fantastic but sadly miles away from the reality of the place. The pool is deemed unsafe and should not be used, broken ladders into the water, gaffer-tape holding the Polly tunnel together rusty panels around pool, rusty shards in the pool just waiting to be stood on and the dead frogs we had to fish out yuck. It’s a real shame that it’s not had some cash put it to the place as could be fantastic holiday home.

Love this place. This year was our second visit and we have already booked for next year. Lots of places to visit near Rosevere like Sherringham, Holt, Fakenham (market Thursday). The pool and hot tub was fantastic.

Spacious house, pool really is the selling point and is bigger than expected and a real winner with all the family. As with previous reviews could do with a deep clean as it felt dirty (woodwork could do with a repaint and sealants all need replacing). Massive problem with flies, as noted in the guest book by previous guests. Maybe a UV bug ‘zapper’ would be a good reasonably priced solution. Pool maintenance is good (checked during our stay). A lot of the spotlights didn’t work but owner was aware as previous guests had said.

Lovely time had by all, 2 grandparents, mummy and daddy and 4 boys aged between 14 and 7 months. Most of the time was spent either in the pool or the hot tub. Kitchen bit enough for all of us to sit together. Shower and toilet facilities right next to pool was a godsend, no water through the bungalow. Beautiful weather for the week, trips to Fakenham, Great Yarmouth and Cromer. Only slight downside was double matresses, deemed uncomfortable, the singles seemed ok and the amount of flies, had to cover food all of the time. Used a can of spray but they still kept coming. Maybe the purchase of a couple of 'Bug Zappers' would be worth while and I know we were in the country and expect a few bugs etc, but got fed up with clearing out 'dead bodies'. All in all and lovely place and one we will visit again. My grandson gave it 9/10!!

This was our second visit to Rosevere as the family enjoyed their stay so much last year. However, not all was good this time around the cottage did need a little tlc and attention to detail/safety issues addressed. Upon arrival we found dirty water left in the kitchen sink, upon using the clean plates stacked in the cupboard, we found three had been put away still with congealed food stuck to them. Only half of the spotlights were working in the kitchen. We needed to clean out the filter in the dryer as the lint was blocked solid and overheating and the washing machine had mould in the powder area and around the seal. We were unable to use the shower in the main double bedroom after I was scalded by the boiling water coming from the shower, there was no way to cool the water after it had been running for a few minutes and there was no safety regulator fitted, I dread to think what would have happened if this had been a younger person. My daughter stepped on a rusty nail which was protruding from the wooden step around the washing line and injured her foot. Upon leaving, as always, we vacuumed and had a general clean-up and noticed that in the back double bedroom (under the bed) someone had left two plastic bottles and a plastic danish pastry container prior to our arrival. When the cleaner arrived (earlier than check-out time) we did point out a number of these points out to her, to which she confirmed that the owners would be updated with our comments. I do have pictures to prove the facts of these comments and will happily share with the owners if required. Overall, our family did have a good holiday which could have been so much better had all these points been previously addressed prior to our stay.

Compared to last year the cottage is now in need of a thorough deep clean, replacement of the uncomfortable mattresses and the washing machine which is still rusty and has paint peeling off. The pool is in need of some maintenance to remove the black stains around the edges, the ladders are broken and unsafe and the edging needs replacing as it is bent and broken. The garden was unusable by the children as the grass was knee high and had not been cut? The cottage is the perfect holiday location but the standards have certainly dropped.
