Nice comfortable bungalow, would stay again. Good location for base to explore the area. Around 10 to 15 mins bus ride into Hastings centre, the bus stop is only a short distance away and the bus runs every 20 mins or so. The bungalow is fairly spacious and the rooms are generous. The conservatory is comfortable and a very useful addition to the floor space. Corner site with nice rear garden / patio / sitting area. Downsides are poor Wi Fi reception, the drive / parking is at the side so cannot be seen from the bungalow. During the week the local hospital staff park their cars in the road so coming and going by car can be tricky. The shower control takes a bit of mastering.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. We have had it checked and it is very good signal. We have personally checked and the results are excellent. The parking by hospital staff in the road has always been manageable and the staff are considerate to home owners and drive ways for access.

Possibly the best cottage in Sussex, comfortable, clean and in a location which is excellent for both town and country. Alexandra Park, only a few minutes away is perfect for dog walkers and has a very good cafe. Hastings itself is let-down by the sea front cheap shops and chip shops. However moving away to Rye, Bexhill and Eastbourne for day trips shows Sussex in a good light.
