Perfect situation for visiting some wonderful places. Local amenities good but not a lot of choice as just a village. Very cosy, welcoming cottage, owner was very helpful and friendly.

This was an excellent cottage. It was very clean and tidy with a modern and very attractive layout. It had everything you need for a lovely stay in Bentham. Nice touches on arrival too especially the fresh scones and jam. I would love to stay again. Thank you for having us.

Not our first visit to the Yorkshire Dales but our first to High Bentham and Rosebank Cottage. We loved both the cottage and village (butchers, bakers, pubs, food shops, hardware store, fish and chips etc etc). The cottage is very conveniently located just off the main street in the village yet is quiet with easy private parking right outside the door. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We had control over the heating should we have needed it but the cottage was cosy and warm during our visit so not needed, but this would be a bonus in the colder months though. The owners have thought of everything and we wanted for nothing during our stay. The main bedroom was spacious, with a lovely comfy bed plus ample wardrobe and storage space. The bathroom was again well equipped with soft towels and complementary toiletries. We didn't use the second twin room, again with ample wardrobe space, but as the floor space is limited in here we feel the cottage is more comfortable for two rather than four people. However elsewhere it is equipped for four so don't let this put you off booking. We appreciated the welcome scones, strawberries, milk and of course wine, thank you. We did lots of walking whilst staying at Rosebank Cottage, including a couple of walks from the door and we enjoyed returning at the end of the day for a pot of tea on the private patio area to enjoy the evening sun. Yes we had sun in August. The owners live in the house next to the cottage and were there if we needed anything but the cottage still felt private. We will definitely be returning to Rosebank Cottage very soon as it is a great base for walking the Yorkshire Dales. 10 out of 10 all the way.

Rosebank cottage is a new cottage well equiped and comfortable. The broadband and BT TV was a bonus. Local shops are 2 minute walk away and can supply all your needs. Convenient position for local attractions in Yorkshire. Highly recommended.
